The Catering professionals
and Line Cooks is for our
commissary Kitchen in the
Bronx
Responsibilities:
-
Under the Chef
supervision, performs
work of
moderate-difficulty in
regards to the
preparation of foods on
a large scale
commercial-type basis.
Work is performed
according to specific
policies and procedures
-
Operates with the
kitchen equipment as
assigned.
-
Working at our
commissary, in the
Bronx, under the
guidance and direction
of the Catering
Supervisor, you will be
responsible for the
preparation and assembly
of all catering orders
including “gift
baskets”.
-
Under the supervision of
the Executive Chef, you
will be responsible for
the preparation of all
foods being produced for
our retail operations
throughout New York City
and the Hamptons.
-
Demonstrate enthusiasm,
teamwork, and
dependability making all
the assigned tasks in
the Catering-Gift
Baskets Department.
Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities:
-
Demonstrate a high level
of creativity possess an
understanding of every
facet of the gourmet
catering prep and gift
baskets preparation.

Demonstrated work
experience and
creativity with a range
of foods in a wide array
of circumstances.
-
Acquired the capability
to read and follow
instructions from the
executive chef and
catering-gift baskets
supervisor.
-
Recognized the ability
to work with individuals
and teams of diverse
backgrounds as a member
of a team.
-
Be able to produce large
quantities of good food
and have the flexibility
to adapt to change.
This position is part of a
high-volume food prep
production team. Some
holidays, weekends and
overtime work will be
required.
